Excel Transportation Rate Policy
1. A 20% gratuity is applied to the base rate plus any waiting time for each ride.
2. Waiting time is charged by the hourly rate for the vehicle type.
3. Excel charges a 10% fuel (STC) surcharge on the base rate for trips.
4. Tolls and Parking are extra and will be reflected in the itemized receipt.
5. All trips between 12 am and 5am are assessed a $25 late night fee.
6. A holiday fee of $25 is charged on trips on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve and Day, and New Year’s Eve.
7. Upgrades to a Van, SUV, or stretch limousine are an additional $50 on top of the base rate listed. Upgrades in Connecticut are charged by the hourly rate for the vehicle type with a three hour minimum.
8. Additional stops are charged based on the location of the additional stop in relation to the final destination. Stops in the same town are $15. Stops in different towns are $25.
